My Past Pre-School Students' Page Please Pray for all these, my former students, that have been a blessing to me. My ministry changed to teaching the women of the church, so I had to close this ministry. These children are still precious to me. This is a picture of my Pre-School students working. Students after class Here are some of my past students.  <-Daniel This is Daniel Frazer Kane. He is almost 5 years old. He started coming to school when he was just 1 year old. He is Pastor Frazer Kane's first child. When he started school at 1 year old, all he thought about was playing and to him playing meant distracting the other children. Now he is doing very well and is learning quickly. He is going to be as bright as his father is too.  Bernadette-> This is Bernadette Musonda. She is 6 years old. Her parents are new to our church. Her older sister Mwape went to school with Mercy Banda and then I started inviting her to Sunday School. Mwape started coming regularly. Then slowly, the rest of her family started coming. I don't know much more to say about Bernadette since she is mostly new to me. <-Catherine This is Bernadette's sister Catherine. She is 4 years old. Elestina-> This is Elestina Banda. She has been coming to my preschool since it started. She is 6 years old. She is starting first grade a year earlier than normal. This is a great accomplishment which has been duplicated by many of my students. In Zambia, they rarely allow a child to start first grade until they are 7 years old. They turn away most 6 year olds and for them to allow 5 year olds is unheard of. <-Elizabeth This is Elizabeth Banda. She is almost 4 years old. Eliza is a good friend of mine, but she really likes to have her mom around too. Adrian-> This is Adrian Mungandi. He is 4 years old and started attending preschool last year. His favorite thing was to stand next to me and start shouting the days of the week. Wherever he sees me, he likes to tell me the days of the week. <-Samuel This is Samuel Mungandi. He is the older brother of Adrian. He had been living with his grandmother in another town, but has now come to stay with his family. He really enjoyed preschool. He liked to copy anything I said. He always had a smile on his face. Ryhima-> This is Ryhima Gossr.  <-Nkumbu This is Nkumbukani (Nkumbu for short). He is 3 years old. We didn't know how he would do because he was always afraid of me because I was white. We expected a flood of tears as soon as him mom left the room, but instead he joined right in with the others. He is incredibly funny and a real joy to have around. Leonard-> This is Leonard (Nondo) Mwansa. He is 6 years old. He also had been attending the preschool from the start. He is the one that has trouble with his eyes as you can see so I took him to the doctor a few days after this picture was taken. Leonard started out being the bully in the preschool. But by the end, he was always excellent while I was in the room. The problem was if I had to leave the room. <-Lackson and Doreen This is Lackson (5 years old) and Doreen (just turned 7 years old) Kamboyi. Lackson started preschool a couple of years ago. Doreen had been visiting relatives when Lackson started, but when she returned a few months later, she also started. Doreen is in second grade now, so she is one of my graduates. She went through first grade so well that the teacher made her the monitor for the whole class even though she was the youngest student in first grade. Si -> This is Si Zulu. He is 5 years old. He started coming to school three years ago with 2 of his cousins, Beauty and Romeo. Both of them started first grade two years ago. <-Angel This is Angel Mwamba. He is 4 years old. He started preschool two years ago. Cascious -> This is Angel's brother, Cascious Mwamba. He is 7 years old. He was one of my first students. Last year he started first grade and was doing really well. <-Grace This is Grace Musupi. She is 5 years old. She started preschool last year.
